Wellness Services

Maybe you just finished physical therapy...but you still need more

Check out our Wellness Services!

Our wellness services are designed to help you stay in shape and achieve your physical wellness goals without being limited by insurance coverage. Unlike the skilled services provided through physical therapy, our wellness services are considered “non-skilled” by insurance companies and are not covered. Despite not being covered by insurance, our wellness services are still extremely valuable to certain individuals and are offered by Mobile Physio at a cash rate. Here are a few scenarios where you might benefit from our wellness services:

You were just discharged from physical therapy…but you want MORE!
Often times, discharge from PT should be celebrated, because you met your goals and you don’t need us anymore! However, we realize that some people feel abandoned at these junctures, wishing they still had someone giving them continued guidance and direction on their physical wellness journey. Thanks to our hybrid service model offering both physical therapy and wellness, after you are discharged from PT you have the option to seamlessly transition into our wellness visits if you so choose.

You’re already getting therapy elsewhere…but you want MORE!
Maybe you are currently seeing a physical therapist 2 days per week, but 2 days isn’t enough for you. Maybe you wish you could do another 1 or 2 days per week, but due to insurance and/or your therapist’s recommendation you are limited to 2 per week.

Fortunately, Mobile Physio can see you on those off-days for “non-skilled” wellness visits (not physical therapy). This means that we can help you practice your exercises, stretches, walking, transfers, etc. based on your primary therapist’s plan of care. So we would not be altering your current physical therapy plan in any way, but would simply be helping you “do your homework”  and implement the plan that your therapist has already established for you. With your consent, we would contact your therapist to get your specific plan from them so we can help you carry out the plan at home.

You currently don’t qualify for PT, but you still want  help from a professional.
Maybe you’re doing everything in your life that you need to. You’re independent, you’re working, you’re doing everything you need to do. There’s really no indication for skilled physical therapy services, or maybe your denied you therapy coverage. Despite these circumstances, you still want help from a physical therapist to make sure you are on the right track. Maybe you want a personal exercise program, or you just want help to stay in shape. We can still help you with our wellness visits.

There’s no one at home to help you do your exercises.
Therapy is over, and you’re supposed to keep doing your exercises and stretches, right? But maybe the best exercises and stretches for you require a second set of hands, but you live alone. Or maybe you’re supposed to keep up with daily walking, but you aren’t quite safe to walk by yourself. We can be that second set of hands and keep you safe!

You simply want someone there to push you!
We get it, you know what you’re supposed to be doing, but it’s just so much better when a professional is right there with you! You just want someone there holding you accountable. We can be that person.

And unlike physical therapy which is commonly 2-3 days per week, our wellness services are offered at customizable frequencies. Anywhere from monthly checkups all the way up to daily treatments if you so choose. It’s up to you and your goals.
