INSURANCE & PRICING

*Select each item for details*

If you have Medicare Part B along with a supplemental plan and have met your 2024 deductible of $240, your physical therapy will be fully covered, and you won’t be billed. If you don’t have a supplement plan or your deductible hasn’t been met, you may be responsible for a small portion of the cost.

Questions? We’re here to help! Call us at (412) 423-5572 to learn more about your coverage and what to expect.

**Please note that this is only for Traditional Medicare. If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan, those are different….(see below)

Mobile Physio accepts most Medicare Advantage Planssuch as Aetna Medicare, Highmark Community Blue Medicare, and UPMC for Life. While we do accept these insurances, we are still an out-of-network provider with them and thus coverage will depend on whether you have a PPO or an HMO:

PPO Advantage Plans: You likely have out-of-network benefits and can get most of your therapy covered.  We can run your information through our system, checking your deductible, whether you have a co-pay or co-insurance, and other important details so we can give you an accurate estimate on how much of your therapy will be covered and what your responsibility will beCall (412) 423-5572 to find out!

– HMO Advantage Plans: HMO plans want you to stay in-network. Since Mobile Physio is an out-of-network provider for any insurance other than Original Medicare, your insurance will likely not provide any coverage, thus you would have to pay out-of-pocket (see self-pay information below). We can still run your information, because sometimes an HMO will still provide out-of-network benefits, however it is not likely. If you decide to call your insurance company on your own, feel free to use our tip sheet to ask them the right questions.

Mobile Physio is an out-of-network provider for all commercial insurances. Therefore, you must pay out-of-pocket at the time of service (see self-pay information below). Afterwards, you can submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement. To assist you with submitting claims to your insurance, Mobile Physio provides you with an itemized receipt that your insurance company will need in order to reimburse you. Claims can usually be submitted online or by mail. For more details on how to submit a claim with your specific insurance, call the number on your insurance card.

Reimbursement from your insurance company will depend on whether you have a PPO Plan, an HMO Plan, or an EPO Plan

PPO Plans:

  • Likely have out-of-network benefits.
  • You may get partial coverage for Mobile Physio therapy.
  • Contact your insurance to confirm specific benefits using our tip sheet.
  • Payment is still required at the time of service.

HMO Plans and EPO Plans:

  • Typically require in-network providers.
  • Likely will not cover Mobile Physio therapy.
  • Some exceptions may apply. Use our tip sheet to check your out-of-network benefits with your insurance company.
